Rap Crap

March 12th, 2010

I fooled around with some of my old gear today. I might get back into writing and rhyming. I had a bit of fun, once I got going.

I don’t think that people are supposed to have that much fun alone. :-D

Either way, take a listen!: http://drawp.com/rap/crap.mp3

Singstar Motown

I think we’ve been waiting a weeeee bit too long for this one.

Highlights (without Goofus or Galant)

February 17th, 2010

Hey everyone…. or no one.

I haven’t really publicized that I blog here.  Soon enough though.

I’ve had a really good last few days.  V-day was stellar.  It actually went better than I imagined.  I’ve been super creative–  thinking of lyrics, a crazy commercial concept for Project Storm 3, and other random goodness.  I feel like I’m about to explode.

I’ve also come back to Twitter.  In order to keep it updated, I’ll be doing more status updates via Phone and I’ll probably look at HootSuite (Thanks for the indirect suggestion Shibooya)  or a similar interface.

And now, to catch up on 24.

#3 – James Brown – Living in America

February 11th, 2010

This song will forever conjure up memories of Apollo Creed’s entrance in Rocky IV. It is also greatly underrated for it’s patriotic value. This is the ‘I Love LA‘ or ‘New York, New York‘ for the whole nation!  Enjoy #3.

Super Bowl.

Lance Moore breaks the plane.

Congrats Saints!

No team seemed like the ‘villain’ to me this time around. While not the most scientific idea, I usually get a villain vibe from one of the teams involved. I spent the game in small, great company and enjoyed every aspect of it– even the halftime show, replete with Pete Townshend windmills.  This year also had an extremely strong crop of commercials.  After, some deep thought, I’ve chosen my winners.

There are three, in no particular order.

Strikeforce: Miami and other notes.

February 1st, 2010

Strikeforce: Miami was last night.  I’m not going to yammer on about who won vs. who should’ve won each fight.  However, I’ve noticed how MMA in the US is missing the pageantry of overseas promotions.  I was reminded of this whilst watching Strikeforce’s sad, sad, pyro for each introduction.  They might as well just do it UFC style and follow the fighter from the tunnel and focus on music selection.

How I long for the introductions of Pride events past and current Dream events.

Moving on.  I’ve had a recent deluge of creativity and I’m going to have to start milking some of these metaphorical cows soon.  It sounds easy.  All I have to do now is make it look easy. :-]

iPad, schmiPad.

Apple knows that they have a flock of sheep. iPad is a direct acronym for Paid.

#2 – Daler Mendhi – Tunak Tunak Tun

January 27th, 2010

Another worthy addition to the Playlist for Life.  I’ve decided to start numbering these.  I still have trouble listening to this song only one time.  I keep the dance safely ensconced within my head. :-]

JR Walker and the All-Stars – Shotgun

I find it quite difficult to maintain a bad mood when this song is played.  You should all have this on your Playlist for Life.

Running Out the Clock

January 26th, 2010

Here’s an interesting little read for gamers and sports types.  It’s crazy how a generation that grew up gaming has used the technology as a method of learning and implemented techiniques in real life situations.

I know that Stokely pulled the stunt mid-season, but it also covers other interesting instances of videogame and sport convergence.
